Objective
This guide demonstrates how to create and manage trade rate cards, both manually and via file upload. Starting with manual entry, you define rates based on weight brackets (e.g., 0β1 kg, 3β5 kg) and specify basic, minimum, and additional per-item or per-kilo charges. For instance, a 1 kg item from Sydney to Sydney may have a $5 flat rate, while 3β5 kg items include a base rate and a per-kilo surcharge.
Alternatively, rates can be uploaded using a pre-defined template, mapping entries like routes, weights, and pricing automatically.
The process is straightforward and efficient, enabling quick updates to rate cards for various shipping scenarios.
Adding a new rate card entry (one by one)
You can create a rate entries here. A rate entry is a calculation for getting the rate for a source and destination zone and a particular break.
You can enter upto 2 additional rates. And can be added based on custom functions created in the settings.
Fields that are mandatory are marked as * in the end.
Field Name | Description |
Origin zone* | Choose origin zone from zones you've already created in the zones page. |
Destination zone* | Choose destination zone from zones you've already created in the zones page. |
Weight/Quantity Break* | Choose breakname from weight/quantity breaks you've already created in the rate card. |
Spot rate | If yes, then the user will see a custom message set in Organisational settings as the rate for this source and destination zone is not available. |
Charge base rate | Enter the base rate. |
Minimum Price | Enter the minimum price. |
For each | Enter the value and unit of measure for which the additional rate is applicable. Choose from:

Bulk upload the rate entries using this functionality; a template is available for convenience and please refer to the video above for a to learn how to add your first zones.
Refer to the keys in uppercase in the table above to select the additional rate unit.
